The Frees Foundation reflects the philanthropic vision of C. Norman Frees and Shirley B. Frees by awarding grants primarily in the fields of community services, education, health, and housing. Having lived for over 40 years in the Republic of Mexico, Norman and Shirley Frees expressed a special preference for grants that assist vulnerable and underserved populations seeking to achieve self-sufficiency. Today, the foundation works to serve as a catalyst for social change by collaborating with other foundations and non-profits as well as providing international aid and emergency relief. |
